Athletics Activity Registration & Participation Fee Requirement

Activity Registration is required for all athletes who make a sports team.  BOTH a parent and athlete should complete the online activity registration together. To access the Activity Registration, go to the athletics website (www.wahswarriors.com) and click on “Activity Registration” located at the top of the page.  If the icon on the Activity Registration page is not working (it loops right back to where you started), to get into the registration form, hover on “Registration” at top and select “Western Albemarle Activity Registration”.

If you have completed this process in the past you should have an account you can sign into which should reduce time needed to register an athlete.  Please be sure to select an activity in the “SPRING 20-21” as well as the correct level (Varsity or JV).  Outdoor Track, Tennis and Softball teams are Varsity only.

ACPS requires athletes to pay a $75 athletic participation fee each season.  Please make checks out to “Western Albemarle High School” and in the memo write the name of the student(s) the check covers.  Anyone qualifying for free and reduced lunch will have the participation fee waived. If not on free and reduced lunch but in need of assistance to cover the $75 participation fee please contact the athletic office.

We would like all spring sport athletes to submit the participation fee and complete the Activity Registration by Friday, April 23. Both items need to be addressed before an athlete is eligible to play in contests.

Lastly, please be aware that if an athlete does not pass screening questions or temperature check before a practice or competition, it is the expectation that a parent come pickup the athlete as soon a possible.  Because of this, we highly recommend reviewing screening questions and conducting a self-administered temperature check before departing for the athletic activity.
