Congratulations to the Warrior Cross Country team members that ran for the Crozet Crew Saturday and qualified for the Nike Cross National meet held in Portland, OR on December 7.
The Southeast Region Race was held in Cary, NC on November 30. Defending National Champion Jungle TC (Loudoun Valley) won the team race with 80 points, Crozet Crew finished second with 116 points and Severna Park XC finished third with 146 points. The Oregon bound Crozet Crew members consist of Jack Eliason, Joe Hawkes, Stuart Terrill, Will Bonner, Joseph Taylor, Thomas Kallen and Owen Shifflett.
The Crozet Crew would like to acknowledge the entire community as being part of this achievement. This includes, but is not limited to, parents, teammates, competitors, officials, fans, the medical community, alumni, teachers, staff, administrators, and local businesses.

3A State Champions Results
The team scored a perfect 15 points in the 3A State Championship to outdistance second place Christiansburg High School with 80 points. In the individual race Jack Eliason earned the inividual championship, followed quickly by Joe Hawkes in 2nd, Stuart Terrill in 3rd, Joseph Taylor in 5th and Thomas Kallen in 6th. Freshman Owen Shifflett also earned All State Honors finishing in 13th. Will Bonner completed the Warriors day finishing in 58th for the Warriors.
